It looks like our parent initiation will be put off one more day. The hospital is apparently chock full o' delivering women, so there's no room at the inn unless we want to deliver TBD in a stable. The plan is to get The Lovely Becky in the hospital this afternoon and induce tomorrow morning. Since we're just hanging out and waiting, I'll turn things over to today's house band:

That's what happens when there's a full moon. I had my daughter when there was a full moon and there were so many women delivering way too early, that they kind of forgot about me. Weird, huh?
That is crazzzy.

The full moon got in the way when BK was born, too. A ton of pregnant women in labor and the hospital was short on staff.
Haven't they figured out the full moon situation yet??!!

You know what was hilarious during my wife's own first pregnancy? When they missed the window for the epidural and she had to go without. We still laugh about that one.

It appears we will get in the hospital tonight -- we're waiting to be cleared for landing. I do think the full moon triggered a 21-womb salute. TLB is doing some editing and I played a game of video baseball to take my mind off things.

Don't worry, when they induce with 10X the normal hormone dose, the contractions are much weaker than when they occur naturally. Ignore those scars on the back of my hand, that was a hunting accident. Really.
Brando, I hope everything goes well tonight. I want you to know that I watched the moon rise over Fenway Park, and it was so beautiful, I just felt whoever was born under that moon is already part of something special. Or tomorrow. Whenever.
